I started taking photos when mt dad bought my first camera for me aged 11, a Russian Zenit E SLR. My dad had been interested in photography for years and processed and developed his own film and prints at home in our kitchen darkrrom so it became second nature to take up this fascination.

Having progressed through vaious 35mm film cameras (ending up with aCanon AE-1) I moved into digital work with a Nikon D90 and have moved on from there.

My interest in music photography came about because of many years playing in bands (but having to give up because of hearing damage). I now find, having been "up there on stage" I can see the image both my clients wants and I want before I take it.

An interest in the outdoors started my love of Landscape work and this is where I seem to focus most of my energies now.
